Genuine Hand Crafted Sterling Silver & Stone Jewelry… .925 Sterling Silver

Top of the Line

Next Show Dates: November ?? & ??, 2008

For over two decades, the Visalia Soroptimist Club has provided artisans from around the county, state and country a place to show their wares and shoppers a place to find unique items.

The annual show has become one of the best fundraisers of all the Soroptimist Clubs in California’s Central Valley. Vendors are increasingly anxious to show off their products this year and it will prove to be an outstanding year for all who attend.

At the Top of the Line Craft Show, Christmas ornaments, house decorations and other creations — some from people from as far away as Oklahoma — will be on display.

The two-day event isn’t just a chance for people to get a start on their holiday shopping, though. The show raises money for good causes.

In 2003, the Soroptimists donated more than $35,000 to local charities, including Tulare County Food Link and the Tulare County Battered Women’s Shelter, as well as to high-school scholarship programs.

“Beyond being for a good cause, it’s a fun day out for shoppers,” said Mary Line, one of the organizers. “There’s just so many people out there offering some unique products.”

For shoppers, the craft show is a place to find that unique gift for someone who is hard to shop for.

“I don’t think I’ve missed a single year,” said Barbara Paregien of Visalia. “There are so many new things you can look at every year, plus old favorites you can count on.”
