Join us in the Fall… for the Bakersfield Fall Home and Garden Show, held at the Kern County Fairgrounds in Bakersfield, California during one weekend in October.
On display are the latest products, services and ideas for home improvement, remodeling, decorating, landscaping and gardening, entertaining, leisure living, gift giving and more. Additionally, there is a tempting selection of food and drink will be available to sustain visitors of all ages as they tour the show.
Seven buildings on the fairgrounds are used to house all of the record number exhibitors at the show as this number continues to grow each year.
The 15th annual Bakersfield Fall Home Show was a huge success. We had over 300 exhibits, where the public could find all of their home improvement, decorating, remodeling, and gift-giving needs in one convenient location.
Each year, the list of new exhibitors continues to grow. Over 60 of the exhibitors at the fall show were first-timers. The exciting thing about having so many new companies represented is that each show is never the same show twice. Many exhibitors have come to realize that a Home Show setting is a great place to round up business because the business comes to them.
One of our satisfied exhibitors was Vicki Lewis from Touch of Oranges, who said, îThanks to the article about our company in the special Home Show section in the Bakersfield Californian, our sales increased by 300%.î Many exhibitors expressed to us that the show was a huge boost for their sales and many were enthused about the number of contacts they made during the showsí three-day run.
Dale Edwars and Lindsay Ono of KGET, News Radio 970 AM, with several of their friends, presented informative and entertaining gardening seminars. The crowds that were there learned, among other things, how to maintain their landscape during the winter months, how to eradicate those pesky weeds, and they also learned tips on properly grafting rose bushes and citrus trees. As always, the crowds had to be on their toes because Edwards was up to his old throwing-items-at-you tricks. Many attendees walked away with free soil and other gardening-related items.
However, one show attendee walked away with the biggest prize that was offered at the show: a three-night, fun-filled dream cruise, courtesy of onebakersfield.com.
Thanks to Somerset Auctions, many show attendees also went home with great deals on valuable home furnishings and other collectibles. Somerset Auction remains a must-see for all who attend the home show.
