Bakersfield Spring Home and Garden Show
Next Show Dates: February 18, 19, 20, 2011
Join us in the Spring… for the Bakersfield Spring Home and Garden Show, held at the Kern County Fairgrounds in Bakersfield, California during one weekend in March.
On display are the latest products, services and ideas for home improvement, remodeling, decorating, landscaping and gardening, entertaining, leisure living, gift giving and more. Additionally, there is a tempting selection of food and drink will be available to sustain visitors of all ages as they tour the show.
Seven buildings on the fairgrounds are used to house all of the record number 450 exhibitors at the show as this number continues to grow each year.
Marketing director Jamie Williams credits the show’s snowballing success to Bakersfield’s impressive population boom, “So many new companies have popped up in the valley and have enthusiastically agreed to market themselves at our show.”
The show has many highlights and it’s difficult to capsulize them in just a handful of paragraphs but the effort will still be made.
Once again, the crowds thoroughly enjoyed the Country Garden Seminars and most of the sessions were standing room only. Dale Edwards and Lindsay Ono, the hosts of the “Country Garden” talk show on KGET, did a great job in getting the crowd involved and making sure none of the attendees went home empty-handed by giving away free bags of soil, plants, fertilizer, and other gardening accessories.
Somerset Auctions has brought in droves of people wanting to experience the excitement of a live antique auction. The auctioneer’s energy, enthusiasm, and humor got the crowd involved and the auction was definitely a must-see for anyone who attended the Home and Garden Show.
Many exhibitors reported a record number of sales, service calls, and appointments.
